Job: Store Manager

Due to continual growth, Fox Electrical Contracts Ltd. have an exciting new opportunity available for a permanent Full-time role as a Sales Counter/Store Manager for our new trade counter.

The role will have a main base at our head office in Armagh

Key areas of responsibility:
• Manage all aspects of the business’s buying, including responsibility for the re-order of selected product lines and ensuring that stock levels maintained at optimum levels as well as controlling purchasing for the Company’s electrical works.
• Be responsible for all equipment and carry out regular stock checks.
• Building customer relationships.
• Maintain a high customer service standard ensuring all customers are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner.
• Department development.
• Responsible for achieve sales and margin targets.
• Take a leading position in the development and implementation of the organisations strategic business plan and partake in regular consultation with Senior Management.
• Responsible for training and development of other staff members in relation to the warehouse department.
• Implement safeguarding procedures against theft of company goods or property and ensuring these are adhered to.
• Health & Safety Awareness - ensure that Company Health & Safety Regulations are strictly adhered to, including ensuring a tidy working environment at all times in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure all company policies are implemented accordingly.

The successful candidate must have:
• Previous electrical store/wholesale experience within the electrical industry.
• Good inter-personal skills.
• Ability to manage and anticipate change.
• Full Clean Driving License.
• Be prepared to multi-skill.
• Be fit to take on manual tasks.

Opportunity for overtime/out-of-hours work.

Salary will be negotiable and depending on experience.
